In response to the emergency order that has been put in place for the state of Florida, we wanted to give our guests an update on how this will effect Secrets.
According to the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) Emergency Order 2020-09 our restaurant will continue to serve food and cocktails for purchase outside at our tiki hut and by the pool until 2am.
We will be moving all events to outdoors so that we are following CDC guidelines with social distancing. The resort, condominiums, pool and restaurant will remain open for our guests and owners to enjoy.
**Please know that if any of our staff or guests show signs of an illness you will be denied entry and asked to leave the premises immediately.**
Everyone must show ID and sign our COVID-19 waiver, those with no ID or refusal to sign will be denied entry.
Each guest as they arrive will be required to have their temperature checked before entering our resort. Should a guest have a fever, they will be turned away - please make sure that if you are not feeling well to stay home and join us at a later time.
Secrets policy regarding cellphones will be strictly enforced; NO CELLPHONES, NO PICTURES OR VIDEOS. If this is violated, you will be asked to leave the premises and forfeit all monies associated with your stay.
Social distancing will be practiced per the CDC guidelines- no more than 10 people in a group and each group must be 6 feet apart.
There will be absolutely NO standing or lingering at the Tiki Hut outdoors, there will be two (2) areas that our guests can order food and a cocktail to take back to your sitting area. We will have added staff to come around and take your order so you have a more enjoyable and relaxing time with us.
Secrets is working effortlessly to provide the most up to date sanitation for the safety of our staff and guests. After dedicated research, Secrets is proud to announce that we are in collaboration with, David Allen; with a COVID-19 Cleaning Disinfection & Protection protocol to address the concerns of the rise in COVID-19.
Secrets has continued to monitor the guidelines set forth by the CDC, WHO, Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, infectious disease doctors and epidemiologists and were fortunate to hire an expert to help us craft a protocol currently being used by the aviation and casino industry.
Our staff has undergone training along with upgrading to an EPA Registered List N Disinfectant which kills Covid-19 and other infectious diseases. The purchase of an electrostatic sprayer for application will allow the chemicals to be sprayed effectively.
All of our rooms have been properly disinfected by the standards of CDC protocol and by the new cleaning standards Secrets has implemented. Each guest room will go through the same procedures as guests check out - so we are asking for your patience in the event you check- in and there is a delay in having your room ready. We are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone that enjoys their time at Secrets. These procedures are also being put in place in our common areas and lobby.
