Job Overview:

Secrets Hideaway Resort & Spa is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our hospitality team. As a housekeeper, you will play a key role in providing our guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, be reliable, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Experience is appreciated but not required—we will train the right individual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure all housekeeping services are delivered professionally and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas such as hallways, laundry areas, and supply rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items to management.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear protective equipment as required.
• Handle cleaning chemicals properly and safely according to training and procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of cleaning checklists and assigned rooms.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort setting is a plus.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding position: standing, bending, lifting, and walking for long periods.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor in a lifestyle-friendly environment.
