Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to all recipes and presentation standards.
- Work all stations on the line (grill, sauté, fry, etc.) during peak service times.
- Maintain proper portion control and minimize food waste.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of your station, following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with the setup, breakdown, and organization of the kitchen before and after service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any needs for restocking.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and employee conduct.
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role, ideally in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Culinary training is a plus).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40lbs.
- $17 - $20 an hour - Full-time
