Position Overview
Secrets Hideaway Resort & Spa is seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front office team and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

This role is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, supporting team members, and ensuring all guest interactions—from reservations to check-out—are handled with professionalism, accuracy, and care. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about both guest satisfaction and team development.

Schedule & Availability
This position will primarily focus on evening shifts with some mid-day shifts. Candidates must have open availability and be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Support

  • Supervise and support Front Desk  Agents to ensure excellent performance
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing feedback
  • Lead by example in professionalism and guest service
  • Assist in resolving escalated guest concerns

Guest Service

  • Create a welcoming and positive first impression for all guests
  • Ensure smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes
  • Respond to guest questions and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a high standard of hospitality throughout the guest experience

Front Desk Operations

  • Oversee reservations (online, phone, and in-person)
  • Ensure accuracy in guest accounts, billing, and room assignments
  • Process payments and manage transactions responsibly
  • Support daily front desk operations to ensure efficiency and organization

Event & Guest Experience Support

  • Provide guests with information on resort amenities, events, and policies
  • Assist in coordinating guest access and overall experience during events
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or front desk operations preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with POS systems and property management systems is a plus
  • Must be comfortable working in a lifestyle resort environment
